Dr. Myer graduated from Edwardsville High School in 1979. He received his BS from SIUE in 1983, his BS from U of I in 1984 and his DVM from U of I in 1986. His areas of special interest are cardiology and orthopedic surgery. He wife’s name is Donna and has one son, Andrew. He belongs to the Goshen Rotary Club and his hobbies are fishing and woodworking. He has several pet including several shelties and one cat.
Gina, Operations Manager
Gina joined the practice in August 2007 as a receptionist. In 2008, she moved to our Countryside Greenville office as receptionist and office manager. In 2011, she came back to the Glen Carbon staff as part of the Glen management team. She is married and has two sons and one daughter. Her pets include horses, cats and dogs. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, horseback riding, being outdoors and Cardinals baseball.
Jessica Ward, Human Resources Director
Jessica joined the practice in January of 2015 as a Receptionist. She became the HR Director in February of 2017. Jessica attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville where she graduated in the Spring of 2016 with her Bachelors Degree in Psychology. In her free time, Jessica enjoys reading and making new memories with her friends and family.
Alisse started at Hawthorne in 2011 as part of our animal care team. She was promoted to our receptionist department in 2013, and became part of the Operations team in fall of 2015. Alisse has 2 pets; a Labrador named Winnie, and a cat, Sister. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, doing photography, and spending time with her daughter and fiancé.
Ashley, Boarding Manager
Ashley began working at Hawthorne in 2014 as an Animal Care team member. Since then she has worked in the hospital as an assistant during the day and overnights. She is also an active member of the Hawthorne rehab program. She is currently working on her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. She has a Yorkie named Bentley and a tortoiseshell cat name Kitty. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, horse back riding, crafting, and cherishing time with family and friends.
